Because people don’t fucking take it seriously so there is no way you can make an honest living off of it straight out of school/starting off unless you are super fucking fantastic. [Not only that, I found it wasn’t my cup of tea. I enjoy Illustration more and just can’t do what amazing comic artists do.] A lot of Comic Artists have to get second jobs to survive. Not only that, the expected deadlines for the <strong>public that so fucking needs comics</strong> are outrageous. Get with the program people, it’s a fucking art and should be taken seriously. <strong>Comic artists should be taken seriously.
